John Dahm talks about contracting polio at age 15; being treated at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sioux City; using braces, canes and other assistive devices as a young patient and later as an older person with post-polio syndrome; working in the lab and x-ray departments of the Elizabeth Kenny Institute; adapting his home to his disabilities; and his family life.
